Bauer Radio’s In:Demand show, which is networked across many of the group’s Place stations, is to be taken over by pop star Britney Spears next Monday.
Presenter Lucy Horobin will chat to the singer about her 12-year career and also let her pick some of her favourite tracks from her back catalogue.
Ric Blaxill, Head of Music for the Bauer Radio Network, told RadioToday.co.uk: “This is a great coup for us. Over the past two years we’ve secured interviews with the biggest names in pop, including some of Britney’s contemporaries such as Rihanna and Katy Perry – so it’s great to get Britney herself at this exciting time in her career. The interview is another example of Bauer’s continued commitment to bringing the very best music and entertainment to its local listeners.”
Lucy added: “Britney Spears has always been on my interview wish list, so finally getting to meet her was a dream come true. And she certainly didn’t disappoint. Britney was warm, relaxed and most importantly, seemed genuinely happy!”
