UTV Media has appointed Nigel Robbins as Commercial Director (Ireland), a role which will see him work with the group’s radio stations in Northern Ireland as well as the Republic of Ireland.
His previous role was as CEO of computer games firm Kuju Entertainment and has previously had senior roles with MTV in Asia and Australia.
As Commercial Director, we’re told Nigel will be charged with developing UTV’s commercial interests across TV, Radio and New Media.

The Group has an excellent reputation for providing brand-leading radio, television and digital services and I look forward to working with the senior management team across these key divisions within the organisation.”

UTV Media (Ireland) owns U105 in Belfast as well as stations in Cork, Limerick and Dublin.
