Non-stop One Direction on The Hits Radio

Bauer digital station The Hits Radio says it will be playing non-stop One Direction for an hour tonight – even though the group only have two songs.

It’s to mark the arrival to radio of their second single – Gotta Be You – and will air between 6pm and 7pm this evening (Wednesday).

Chris Younie, presenter on The Hits afternoon show says: “It’s going to be a massive hour for fans of the band! We know our audience love them and are always requesting their tracks – so why not – let’s dedicate an hour to them!”

Earlier this year The Hits Radio trended number one worldwide on Twitter when members of One Direction visited the station to present an hour’s show in the One Direction radio takeover.
