Digital radio station Planet Rock is auctioning off 17 rock star-signed DAB radios to raise money for prostate and testicular cancer charities.
It’s to tie in with the station’s support of the Movember appeal campaign, with rockers from groups including Status Quo, Yes and Thin Lizzy pitching in to help.
The 17 radios are Pure Marshall branded sets and have been signed by the likes of Rick Wakeman, Francis Rossi, Keith Emerson, Jeff Beck, Alice Cooper, Joe Elliot and Dave Grohl.
Bidding started this week and continues until next Monday. Members of the Planet Rock team are also growing moustaches to raise funds and awareness for men’s health issues through November.
