Presenters on Planet Rock will be growing a moustache during the month of November.
Movember – as it has been named – sees the team auction DAB digital radios signed by core station artists such as Jeff Beck, The Foo Fighters and Alice Cooper.
The national rock station will raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health issues, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. The station will also be encouraging its listeners to join in and support the team.
Planet Rock MD, Jonathan Arendt told RadioToday.co.uk: “This will be the first time I’ve managed a team who all look like the village people… I’m quite looking forward to it”.
