Touch Coventry team do city jobs tour

96.2 Touch FM breakfast presenter Brody Swain and his travel reporter Adam Crowther are kicking off a 24-hour job marathon in Coventry this morning.

The pair plan to make their way around scores of businesses, attractions and charities in the city to help promote local organisations.

The Quidem-owned station tell us Brody and Adam will be getting stuck in to different jobs to find out what makes the city ‘tick’ – including going on the beat with the police and joining traders at Coventry market.

The 24-hour broadcast started at 6am today (Thursday) and continues until tomorrow morning (Friday) on this year’s Arqiva award winning Commercial Radio Station of the Year (under 300,000 TSA).

Brody told RadioToday.co.uk: “The day we have planned is really going to show off what is really great about Coventry, we can’t wait to get out into the city and showcase what it has to offer and the hard work the local folk do. It’s an incredible city, and we want to shout about it”.

Tracy Benbow, Membership and Business Advisor at Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce added: “This project is amazing, it really is great for local business”. Coventry 24 is fully backed by the Chamber of Commerce, and it’s member businesses were actively encouraged to participate.”
