Total Star raises £12,000 during auction

Gloucestershire’s Total Star has so far raised over £12,000 for local charities during its Christmas Charity Auction yesterday.

All money raised will help to improve the lives of sick children in the station’s TSA.

The items, such as meals out, gym memberships, karting sessions and a new shower were all donated by local companies.

Presenter Mike Read even donated some of his own memorabilia.

The Pied Piper Appeal is the beneficiary of all the money raised during the day, which will help a wide range of projects in and around Gloucestershire such as Specialist Sensory Suites all aimed at improving the lives of sick children within the county.
