Bauer Radio’s sales teams are to work more closely with colleagues at Bauer Media part of a restructure of the parent group’s commercial teams.
It will enable the UK’s second biggest radio group to offer cross-platform advertising based on brands in their portfolio.
The restructure will result in each of Bauer’s 100-strong commercial team dedicated to digital sales alongside traditional advertising channels. Bauer Media has also created a digital trading hub, which it says will ‘act as a single point of contact for advertisers to simply and efficiently buy across Bauer’s digital portfolio’. The hub will be led by Vicki Clubley, acting head of magazine trading, who will work closely with Tom Curry, radio commercial director – trading.
Andrea Kilbourne, digital director, lifestyle and advertising, Bauer Media London, said: “Bauer Media has many exceptionally talented individuals in the team and this move to integrate digital practices into all our sales divisions will develop deeper expertise, continue driving innovation and serve our customers more effectively. Digital expertise will sit at the heart of our brand teams and enable us to offer greater creative ideas and solutions across our portfolio of influential brands.”
