Jazz FM helps Oxfam for Women’s Day

Dinner Jazz – Jazz FM’s flagship show – has partnered with Oxfam throughout February to encourage people to raise money for charity.

The Get Together event aims to encourage as many people as possible to host an event on International Women’s Day to support women around the world.

Jazz FM’s Director of Sales, Jo Coltman says: “This is a very important partnership for Jazz FM. Last year we supported International Women’s Day with an interview with one of the leading female academics in rapid diagnostics testing from The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine so we are very pleased to be partnering with Oxfam’s Get Together Campaign this year via our flagship show, to extend our support of women around the world.”

In addition, First Radio Sales has agreed a deal for over sixty local radio stations to get involved. A two week partnership, which launches on Monday 13th Feb, includes presenter live reads and talk ups along with digital and social media activity on station websites plus an airtime campaign with creative voiced by actress Helen Mirren.

FRS’s campaign will run across major local radio groups including UTV,UKRD, Tindle, Celador, Lincs, KM Group and Town and Country Broadcasting as well as independent stations such as Isle of Wight Radio, Radio Exe and Glide FM.
