Bauer Media’s digital station The Hits Radio is swapping its whole weekday daytime line-up around from next month with Graeme Smith taking over on breakfast.
Current breakfast show presenter James Everton moves to the 3-7pm slot to host a new ‘Takeover UK’ show featuring listener requests and ‘access to the biggest stars’.
Michael Blades moves forward a show to host mid-mornings from 10am, while weekend presenter Danny Mylo will take over the 1-3pm afternoon show as well as continuing his ‘Weekend Kickstart’ programme on Saturday afternoons.
Bauer network presenters Alex James and Matt Spokes continue to appear on the station’s evening and late shows when the schedule changes come into place next Monday (2nd April).
