Deadline extended for How-Do awards

Radio stations in the north-west of England have until Wednesday to submit their entries for the How-Do Awards.

Organisers say the deadline has been extended after lots of companies called and emailed them requesting additional time.

The How-Do Awards, which typically attract between 500 to 600 guests, will be held at the Point at Lancashire County Cricket Club – an evening occasion which last year saw the North’s largest annual gathering of creative, media folk and digital folk in one room.

Nearby MediaCityUK is the awards headline partner for the fourth year in succession, and entries are encouraged from all radio stations from hospital and community to national brands based in the northwest.

Last year Bauer’s Key 103 was named station of the year, whilst the group’s MD of Radio Dee Ford was presented with the Personality of the Year prize.

Previous winners include GMG Radio’s Smooth (FM as it was) and Bauer’s Lancashire station Rock FM. Relevant categories include “Radio station of the year”, “Media Website”, “Media Agency”, “Media Sales”, and “Independent Production Company”.
