BBC Radio 1 presenter Fearne Cotton is expecting a baby with her boyfriend Jesse Wood.
Fearne announced the news on Twitter on Wednesday evening, rather than waiting for her own radio show the next day to break the news.
Jesse is the son of Absolute Radio’s Ronnie Wood – so there will no doubt be celebrations at both stations.
Radio colleagues have been sending their congratulations to the couple, including Matt Edmondson who said “Congratulations to @Fearnecotton and Jesse! I hope she calls the baby Des” and Sara Cox wrote: “Keep doing a soppy lil’ smile at @Fearnecotton & Jesse’s rather wonderful news. Huge congrats & love at such a special time”

It’s too early to know who will cover Fearne whilst she’s on maternity leave, but whilst she is off next week, her show will be filled by a simulcast of Trevor Nelson’s show on BBC Radio 1Xtra.
