Gorman gets guest co-hosts on Absolute

Absolute Radio’s Dave Gorman is to work with two new co-presenters whilst his usual Sunday morning team are performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Annabel Port and comedian Andy Zaltzman will fill the slots for regular co-hosts Danielle Ward and Michael Legge.

Annabel Port currently co-hosts the Hometime Show with Geoff Lloyd, plus her own show on Absolute Radio 70s and co-hosts the Game of Thrones Thronecast on Sky Atlantic HD.

Andy Zaltzman last appeared on Absolute Radio earlier this year providing an alternative commentary to England’s Euro 2012 matches

Next week Dave Annabel and Andy will present an extended show on Absolute Radio from BT London Live at Hyde Park 10am-1pm. On the same day Absolute Radio will then broadcast the Blur performance live from Hyde Park ahead of a special one-off programme – Dave Gorman meets Damon Albarn at 11pm.

Absolute Radio’s Content Director, Tony Moorey said, “Dave has a passionate, discerning audience, so finding broadcasters who can sit in for Danielle and Michael is a tough ask, but in Annabel and Andy we have two hugely talented presenters who’ll match Dave’s intelligent comedy perfectly.”

The signing of Annabel and Andy to work on the Dave Gorman show comes just weeks after Johnny Vaughan joined the station’s line up which already includes Frank Skinner, Ronnie Wood, Ian Wright, Christian O’Connell and Geoff Lloyd.
