The Phantom of The Bay to be let loose

CN Group station The Bay is bringing back its popular Phantom of The Bay competition.

The station gave away over £15,000 last time it ran the promotion, whichasks listeners to track down a character in a fugitive/renegade style manhunt.
Managing Director of The Bay, Bill Johnston, told RadioToday.co.uk: “The Phantom of The Bay is returning to The Bay area and we’ve got thousands of pounds up for grabs! So many people are talking about it already, phoning up the presenters on air and commenting online excited about The Phantom of The Bay’s return. But they need to remember to trust no one and ask
everyone: Are you The Phantom of The Bay?”

The Bay’s Breakfast presenter, Danny Matthews, also added: “Everyone is asking me who The Phantom of The Bay is and I’m in the dark as much as everyone else! I have no idea and am as curious as all of our listeners. The Phantom of The Bay could be anyone. The key thing is to ask everyone you suspect and ask the all important question: Are You The Phantom of The Bay? – because if you don’t say it, we won’t pay it!!”

The Phantom of The Bay returns on The Bay from Bank Holiday Monday 27th August with the first clue on ‘The Bay Breakfast.’
