Ben Cooper on the future of BBC Radio 1

The future of music radio is the topic of conversation between Radio 1 Controller Ben Cooper and John Myers in an upcoming Radio Academy Event.

Ben will reveal his thoughts on the future of music radio and a national radio station without Chris Moyles at breakfast, on Monday October 22nd in Leeds.

John, who is Chair of the Sony Radio Academy Awards, will be finding out how Ben aims to stay in the hearts and minds of younger listeners and the future of music radio in general. He’ll also be taking questions from the audience.

Event organiser Scott Myers told RadioToday.co.uk: “This is a great event for the Yorkshire Branch, Ben is leading Radio 1 through some big changes and I look forward to hearing his thoughts on the future of music radio.”

Tickets are limited so contact the Radio Academy for more details.
