Deputy PM to host a show on Radio 5 live

Nick Clegg will host a special one-off show with Shelagh Fogarty next month as part of the BBC Radio 5 live Octoberfest line-up.

The Deputy Prime Minister, leader of the Liberal Democrats and MP for Sheffield Hallam will face questions from 5 live listeners about the coalition government from on 12pm on Friday 12 October.

5 live’s Octoberfest is a free three-day festival run in partnership with BBC Radio Sheffield and features a host of live broadcasts and events across the city.

Some of the station’s presenters and some special guests will be on hand to lead the discussions and to get involved with the action. Confirmed contributors include Nicky Campbell, Shelagh Fogarty, Simon Mayo and Mark Kermode, Stephen Nolan, Robbie Savage, Colin Murray, Al Murray and Nick Hancock.
