Former Rock FM and Radio Wave presenter John Pye is back on the radio in the North West after a five year break.
John, who is a farmer in Cumbria, will host Lakeland Radio’s Saturday afternoon sport and music show.
He says he’s looking forward to being back on-air: “Am throughly thrilled to be back on air doing a job I love in the most scenic part of the North West. Lakeland Radio is run by a very enthusiastic team who have a great deal to offer the Lake District be it residents, customers not to mention the huge through put off visitors to the UKs biggest National Park.
John was part of the team at Red Rose Rock FM in the 1990’s and Blackpool’s Radio Wave.
