There’s a new co-host at Capital South Coast from January as Emily Segal takes over from Zoe to present the show with Gillies from January 7th 2013.
Born and bred in the South, Emily currently presents Capital FM’s early morning show. She replaces Zoe Hanson who is expecting a baby next February and joins Heart in the New Year.
Emily Segal said: “Getting the chance to host the Breakfast Show is a dream come true and I’m so looking forward to waking up all of the listeners with Gillies, next year. The South Coast is one of my favourite parts of the UK and holds such a special place in my heart, so I can’t wait to get started.”
103.2 Programme Controller Simon Monk said: “We’re all so excited about hearing Gillies and Emily on-air for their first show. Emily is a big talent and combined with Gillies and Producer Adam, it’s going to be a thoroughly entertaining mix. Roll on January 7th!”
Sister station Heart South Coast is also expected to announce a new breakfast show soon as JK and Lucy are off to Heart London to present drivetime.
