Juice FM becomes Grand National partner

Liverpool’s Juice FM is to be the official radio partner of the 2013 John Smith’s Grand National Festival, taking place at Aintree Racecourse.

The partnership will see Juice host the Juice FM Stage, where artists including The Saturdays will perform on the Grand Opening Day, and the Juice FM Party Zone on the day of the Grand National on the Saturday of the meeting.

Juice FM Station Director, Graham Sarath said: “The Grand National, like Juice, is a Liverpool institution and the biggest event in the sporting and social calendar for the city. To be Official Radio Partner of the festival is fantastic for Juice and I’m really looking forward to working with the team at Aintree and having a bit of fun on air in both the build up and at the festival itself.”

John Baker, Regional Director of Jockey Club Racecourses said: “I’m delighted to be able to confirm this relationship with such an important radio station for Liverpool. We wanted to add something new to the race experience across all three days and together with The Saturdays on Grand Opening Day we see Juice FM as the perfect station to do just that.”

The event takes place from Thursday 4th to Saturday 6th April 2013.
