Kerrang! invites Biffy Clyro to breakfast

Scottish rockers Biffy Clyto will be co-hosting the morning show with Loz and Keith next week and will then perform on the station’s in-house live stage.

An audience of 100 competition winners will be attending, and will then get to meet the band.

It’s part of Kerrang! Radio’s Spotlight feature – which every week celebrates the work of the world’s biggest rock bands with live sessions, interviews and stories from fans and listeners.

“Spotlight is the band’s passage to Kerrang! Radio’s official Hall of Fame – Kerrang!’s essential list of the finest bands to ever grace the planet!” Programme Director James Walshe told Radio Today. “With such a rich heritage and exciting times ahead for guitar music, there’s never been a better time to celebrate the world’s greatest rock bands”.

The station is also offering unsigned musicians and bands the chance to get their music heard and start their career in the music business with The Big Audition.

The winner of the talent search will have the opportunity to play their music on-air, get recording studio time, professional photography for their press pack, a promo video and the opportunity to support Coventry band The Enemy.
