Kerrang! Radio has launched a new rock quiz app, allowing users to register their scores on a global leader board to see how they compare.
Launched in the iTunes store this week by drpdigitalmedia, the Kerrang! Radio Rock Quiz includes audio and video content from presenters as well as contributions from various rock bands.
Ben Wallace, drpdigitalmedia director commented: “We felt that with this type of app, it was important to include a high level of social media interactivity so people can share in a sense of competition across their chosen platforms. It’s great to be working with such an iconic rock music brand as Kerrang! Radio!”
The quiz app follows a number of other ventures by the West Midlands-based station, including K-Plonk – Kerrang! Radio’s own online beer and wine shop which sells rock branded alcohol such as Rolling Stones ‘Forty Licks’ merlot, Dark Side of the Moon Cabernet Sauvignon and Motorhead Bastard Lager. Even presenter Johnny Doom has his own branded beer: Tipple of Doom.
