Tony Dibbin is taking over the UK’s More Music Breakfast Show on Gold, replacing Paul Coyte who moves to drivetime.
Former radio manager Tony has just recently made a return to the airwaves, and told Radio Today he’s looking forward to breakfast: “I’ve spent 18 years working towards a gig like this and now I just can’t wait to get behind that microphone on Monday morning.”
Tony started his radio career at The Wave in Swansea in 1995 and was the youngest jock on commercial radio at the time. In 1997 he became the youngest national presenter with a year-long stint at Long Wave Radio Atlantic 252.
The other daytime change is David Andrews moving from Drive to Mid-Mornings, filling Tony’s old slot.
The new schedule for 2013 looks like this:
6am to 10am – The UK’s More Music Breakfast Show with Tony Dibbin
10am to 1pm – Mornings on Gold with David Andrews
1pm to 4pm – Afternoons on Gold with Eamonn Kelly
