lbc973A number of auction lots are also being made available.

They include luxury five star holidays, such as a trip to Jordan with business class flights, VIP hospitality at the Henley Regatta and Cartier Polo, plus prizes with a host of LBC 97.3 presenters such as Steve Allen, Ken Livingstone and the newest member of the team – Larry Lamb.

James Rea, LBC 97.3’s Managing Editor, said: “After months in the planning, this is our time to demonstrate our support for the Armed Forces. The recent shocking events in Woolwich mean that next week’s Charity Appeal will be even more poignant.”

Help for Heroes has recently been helped by the former GMG Radio stations where over £1m was raised over a number of “Help for Heroes” days.
