Key 103 offers crisis PR and media training

Key 103 has teamed up with The University of Salford to deliver training and development programmes at the station’s central Manchester studios.

The course, by newly-formed Salford Professional Development Limited focuses on management and proactive positive media relations and is delivered by Key 103’s Chief Training Consultant and Breakfast News Editor, Paul Lockitt.

keynewsPaul has over twenty years’ experience in broadcast journalism at Bauer Media Group, Sky Sports & Granada TV, and as a University Lecturer & Media Skills Coach.

“The take up and feedback for the crisis media training has been amazing and I think that’s because organisations, whether large or small realise they are not just at the mercy of the media – they are also at the mercy of social media now too,” Paul said.

The station says the course is ideal for Chief Executives, Management Teams, Public Relations Managers, Marketing and Brand Managers, or anyone who may have to deal with the media.
