Sun FM travels around Wearside with cash

Sun FM has been giving thousands of pounds away plus the chance to win £1000 in holiday vouchers over the last five weeks.

Lunchtime presenter Mark Black has been broadcasting his show live from a different location every day with his cash machine, giving listeners the chance to win cash.

The ‘Sun Summer Cash Tour’ has visited 26 businesses across the area and will visit the final location of Hays Travel today where the £1000 holiday winner will be revealed.

Sun FM presenter Mark Black has told RadioToday: “It has been great to get out of the studio and take the show on the road around Wearside and the amazing hot weather made it even better.

“It has been fun giving thousands of pounds away and actually meeting the listeners I speak to everyday who love Sun FM.”

Across the 5 weeks, listeners have been invited to come and enter a 4 digit code into the Sun FM cash machine with a chance of winning instant free cash as well spot prizes including iPod Nano’s and SAFC football shirts.

Mark and the cash machine have been at various locations across Wearside, such as car dealerships, restaurants and jewellers.
