Craig David’s Miami pre-party show is heading to Capital FM as the Global Radio network starts to air the programme each Friday night.
Craig’s an old colleague of Global’s Director of Broadcasting Richard Park, having signed the singer to his record label in 1996.
He was also a presenter on Capital London in the late 90s when he hosted a show with Artful Dodger.
TS5 began in Craig David’s own home in Miami where he hosted and DJ-ed weekly house parties, which he then chose to share with the world via soundcloud.
Craig said: “I’m really excited about bringing my TS5 show to Capital FM and sharing my amazing party experience with the UK! It’s also amazing to be working with Richard Park again. Having launched my career by signing me to Wildstar Records, Richard – along with Colin Lester – shaped me as a Recording Artist, enabling me to sell records and concert tickets all over the world! Going back to my original roots on Capital FM is a like a dream come true!”
Richard Park said: “I’ve known Craig for almost 20 years, so I am personally delighted to welcome him to Global. Capital FM is the perfect home for him and his TS5 show.”
