No plans for any radio work says Moyles

Chris Moyles is taking a break from radio for a while, after doing it for so long, he said on This Morning today.

In an interview with Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on television, he said he’s closed that chapter [radio] in his book and is now looking to do something else.

Philip quoted a recent survey on Digital Spy which said 80.9% of those asked wanted Chris back on breakfast radio.

“Never say never,” chris quipped when asked if he’ll be back on the radio soon. “But not for the foreseeable” he continued.

It’s a year this week since Chris left BBC Radio 1 after hosting breakfast for over eight years. He’ll soon return to his role as King Herod in this year’s UK Arena Tour of Jesus Christ Superstar.

He will be reprising his role alongside Tim Minchin, Melanie C and Ben Forster, and performing all over the UK next month.
