Alastair Campbell will be hosting LBC 97.3’s drive time show this afternoon, with Russell Brand lined up as one of his guests.
Alastair, best known as Director of Communications and Strategy for Tony Blair from 1997 to 2003, will be discussing the big stories of the day but focusing on addiction – drawing on his own experiences of alcohol and depression – and will be joined by a number of special guests including Russell Brand.
It’s exactly five years since that phone call from Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross on BBC Radio 2.
Alastair Campbell said: “I’m usually interviewed by Iain Dale so it will be a nice change to sit in for him. I enjoy radio and I am looking forward to getting the chance to talk to the public about the issues that get them going. I’ll also be discussing two subjects close to my heart – addiction and the pressures on young people.”
