UK-based American country music radio station Chris Country will start broadcasting the American Country Top 40 show as part of its weekend schedule.
The show features the USA’s biggest country hits, along with interviews and news features, and will be aired on Chris Country, Saturday mornings 8am-midday and replayed Sunday evening 6pm-10pm.
CT40 host Bob Kingsley said: “I’m delighted that our countdown show will now be heard across the UK on Chris Country. It’s so cool seeing country music travel far beyond North America, and I’m looking forward to hearing from country’s British fanbase!”
The station has also launched an iPhone app with an Android version in production.
