New breakfast show for BBC Radio Suffolk

Etholle George is taking over the breakfast show next year, replacing Terry Baxter who has left the radio industry.

The former BBC Look East and BBC Essex presenter will join the show from Monday 6 January 2014.

Etholle said: “I’m delighted to be joining the team at BBC Radio Suffolk and really look forward to interacting with listeners each morning over a cup of coffee, for the big stories, interesting local interviews and informative conversation.”

Peter Cook, Editor of BBC Radio Suffolk, said: “I’m absolutely thrilled that Etholle is joining us. She’s an excellent broadcaster with a strong track-record. Etholle will host the flagship news and current affairs programme on the station.”

In her twenty years as a broadcaster, Etholle has presented the BBC Essex Breakfast Show, BBC Look East bulletins and is the presenter for BBC One’s Sunday Politics Show for the East.

Terry Baxter has now left the BBC to take up the role of Chairman of the Ipswich Central Business Improvement District (BID) and to continue his work with the Charitable Trust.
