Privately owned radio operator UKRD was celebrating today after claiming the number 1 slot on the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For for the fourth year in a row.
The announcement was made at an awards ceremony in London last night hosted by BBC presenter and broadcaster, Kate Silverton. She also announced a Sunday Times Special Award for Leadership for UKRD’s Chief Executive, William Rogers, who was confirmed as the Best Leader of a mid-sized UK company for an unprecedented third time in a row.
“This is a remarkable achievement for the team at UKRD and speaks volumes for the daily commitment shown in every part if our company,” William told RadioToday.
“We really do have an amazing company full of passionate and committed people and I’m so very proud of all of them and the incredible work they do.”
UKRD wholly owns and operates 17 local commercial radio stations, a portfolio of websites and a software licensing business. UKRD has interests in numerous DAB multiplexes, a national sales house and one other commercial radio station.
