The two winners in radio categories at the Music Weeks Awards 2014 have been announced in London.
The event, which took place at The Brewery in Central London last night, gave BBC Radio 6 Music the Best Radio Station title and XFM’s John Kennedy got the award for Best Radio Show.
Other big winners from the music industry included Virgin EMI, Domino, SJM Concerts, Atlantic Records and Sony Music.
6 Music was nominated along side BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC Radio 2, Absolute Radio and XFM whilst competition from Best Radio Show came from DJ Swerve – KISS, Jamie Cullum – BBC Radio 2, Lauren Laverne – 6 Music, Pete Donaldson – Absolute and Steve Lamacq – 6 Music.
