Leona Graham to present on Planet Rock

Absolute’s Leona Graham is heading to Planet Rock to cover a week of programmes later this month.

Leona currently hosts shows on Absolute Classic Rock and Absolute 80s but will do the afternoon show, Monday to Thursday 2-6pm from 14th – 17th April covering for Darren Redick.

The two stations now share the same owner in Bauer Media and will soon both be housed in the same building at One Golden Square.

Planet Rock’s Music & Content Director Ric Blaxill: “Leona is an authentic, confident authority with a huge passion for rock music. I know she is going to connect well with the Planet Rock audience. It’s fantastic that now Absolute Radio is part of Bauer Media we can collaborate in this way.”

Presenter Leona Graham added, “Planet Rock plays music from my favourite bands and artists. I can’t wait to be unleashed on the airwaves”.

Leona presented her first radio show at University called Thursday Night Rock, and went on to become President of The Rock Society at Warwick Uni, as well as DJ’ing at the ‘Rock Soc’ discos. She’s been at One Golden Square since 2000 and also works as a voice-over.
