JACKfm Oxfordshire taken over by puppets

106 JACK Oxfordshire has been hijacked by the cast of the musical, Avenue Q.

Trails, website takeover and mobile app pre-roll activity have all been leading up to a day where the voice of JACK will be interrupted by the Avenue Q cast – with character-voiced liners between songs and ticket giveaways in JACK’s Morning Glory and across the day on the station website and social media accounts.

The promotion is for the arrival of the show in Oxford after five years in the West End.

Sue Evans, Marketing Manager of The New Theatre Oxford says: “Avenue Q is hilarious, cheeky and uproariously funny – therefore the perfect fit with JACKfm! We’re really excited about this fun-filled, furry promotion.”

Joe Thomas, Content Director of 106 JACKfm Oxfordshire added: “We’re really excited to welcome the Avenue Q cast through our doors here at JACK. Plus they’re probably easier to work with than our current staff.”
