Planet Rock’s first ever compilation CD ‘Crazy Crazy Nights’, in partnership with Universal Music, has secured a top 10 album chart entry within its first week of release.

The station’s first foray into a branded album release features ’36 classic acts’ from some hair metal and rock songs from the 80s. The tracks include core Planet Rock artists including Planet Rock presenter Alice Cooper as well as classics from Whitesnake, Europe, Kiss, Faith No More, Skid Row and many more.

Music and Content Director for Planet Rock Ric Blaxill said: “We have a deeply engaged audience of Planet Rock listeners who quite simply love their music. This CD really brings the soundtrack to their lives alive, and celebrates their passion for the music we play”.
