Radio people complete Ice Bucket Challenge

Whilst the world goes Ice Bucket mad, a large number of radio producers, presenters and managers are also joining in the fund raising efforts.

At the very top of commercial radio, Global Founder Ashley Tabor took time out to complete the challenge, and former BBC radio presenter Chris Moyles had numerous pans of water thrown on him, before he nominated Tony Blackburn, Andi Peters and Howard Stern’s Executive Producer, Gary Dell’Abate.

The boss of Premier Radio also got it, as did BBC Radio 2 stand-in presenter Ryan Tubridy – in the RTÉ 2FM studio!

Presenters around the country are also tipping water over themselves to raise awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and encourage donations to research.

Danny Mylo from Pulse Breakfast took the challenge to another level by having a tractor tip a serious amount of water over him, in a field.
