Nigel Farage joins LBC for 'Phone Farage'

UKIP leader Nigel Farage will be joining Nick Ferrari on LBC from Friday September 12 for a fortnightly phone-in.

The move means its line-up now features representatives from all the major political parties including Nick Clegg, Boris Johnson and Harriet Harman.

Nigel will be on-air every other Friday from 9am till 9:30am. He said: “I’ve always enjoyed being challenged on LBC and Phone Farage is a great opportunity to give even more people the chance to take me to task and hold me to account. If you’ve ever thought, ‘I wish I could give that Farage a piece of my mind’ well, here’s your chance.”

James Rea, Managing Editor at LBC added: “Our phone-ins with national political figures continue to set the news agenda. LBC is the only station that gives listeners direct access to high profile politicians. Ahead of next year’s General Election, with Nick Clegg, Harriet Harman, Boris Johnson and the addition of Nigel Farage, we now have representatives from across the political spectrum.”

James recently spoke about LBC’s recent journey at the Next Radio conference. You can watch his talk here.
