UK imaging company rebrands Dubai station

London-based Contraband Media has completed a full imaging rebrand of UAE station Dubai 92.

The firm says the station was after not just a touch up but a fresh lick of paint in “every nook and cranny” of its imaging. As well as new jingles and sweepers, they’ve made beat-matched music explainers and new news and information beds. There’s also a new station voice, Ben Neidle – who’s a former station imaging producer at stations including Virgin Radio and XFM.

Fiona Winterbur, Head of Programming at Dubai 92 said: “Our new custom package from Contraband Media was exactly what we needed to refresh Dubai 92. Tom, Adam & Small Paul were spot on in creating a package that truly captures our definition for the station. Their work ethic and turnaround is second to none, plus we’ve taken on their excellent ‘Imaging Blueprint’ production service! I look forward to working with them for long time to come.”

Small Paul, Contraband Media’s Music Director, told us: “What a brilliant team to work with and what a fun job it’s been creating a distinctive Hot Adult Contemporary sound for Dubai 92.”

Contraband Director, Tom Cross added: “We’re very proud of the sound we’ve crafted and so so pleased Fi and Brad love it!”
