Heart's Jenni Falconer gets on her bike

Heart’s Jenni Falconer her fellow presenters are raising money for Make Some Noise with a 12 hour bike ride.

On Thursday 9 October at 7am, Jenni and her team will start the “Bike Some Noise” challenge, as they cycle the equivalent of the 874-mile journey from Land’s End to John O’Groats, on the roof of Global’s London studios in Leicester Square.

Joining Jenni throughout the day will be 22 local charity champions, one from every Heart station in the UK. Every champion will have a connection to one of the charities that Global’s Make Some Noise will be supporting.

As well as the champions, Heart presenters including Jamie Theakston, Emma Bunton, Toby Anstis, Stephen Mulhern and Emma Willis, plus some surprise guests, will also be generating their own pedal-power on the bikes with on-air updates during the day.

Jenni Falconer said: “We have set ourselves a huge challenge for Global’s Make Some Noise. From Scotland to Cornwall, we’re asking every listener in every Heart station to get behind their local champion and help us raise money for disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. It’s time to get pedaling!”

To donate £5 text NOISE to 70070. 100% of donations will go to Global’s Make Some Noise.
