RAJAR: Listening figures drop 1% to 89%

The latest radio audience research from RAJAR shows the number of people listening to the radio year on year and quarter on quarter is down.

But on closer inspection it means the percentage of people tuning in each week is down a small amount, with 47,614m people listening compared with 48,052m last quarter and 47,661 12 months ago.

By platform, Digital and DAB are growing steady, whilst AM/FM is down from 59.6% 12 months ago to 56.4% this quarter.

Capital – 7.343m

Smooth Radio – 4,692m
talkSPORT – 3,148m
