The Radio Academy gives out more awards


Two more awards have been announced by the Radio Academy ahead of the annual Radio Festival next week.
BBC Radio 6 Music presenter Gilles Peterson will receive The PRS for Music Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music Radio whilst Free Radio drivetime presenter Jo Russell will pick up the Radio Academy Local & Regional Lifetime Achievement Award.
Both awards will be given out during the Wrecking Ball Cabaret evening on Tuesday 14th October as part of the Radio Festival.
