RAJAR: UK stations get ready for results

It’s that time of the year when radio stations receive quarterly listening figures direct to their web browser.

And for Quarter 3 of 2014, there are a few changes to watch out for.

The quarter covers July, August and September this year – meaning the first full survey for former Real Radio stations after they rebranded to Heart. XFM Scotland also has its first quarter after changing from Real Radio XS, and we’ll see how Heart is getting on now it’s called Capital in Birkenhead (and across North Wales of course).

Reading 107 is now reporting as 107 JACK fm Berkshire and Smooth Radio Glasgow is now known as Smooth Radio Scotland.

BBC 6 Music has been in the headlines as having more listeners on digital than BBC Radio 3 does on FM. Today’s figures should provide an update on those numbers.

And we’ll find out who is number one in London, as ever.

Come back at midnight for all the news, and keep an eye on RadioToday.co.uk/rajar for really nice and easy to use graphs.
