3FM gives £10,000 worth of advertising to charity

3FM has celebrated ten years of music radio on the Isle of Man by teaming up with PokerStars’ Helping Hands project to give away £10,000 of advertising to charity.
Five charities had a share of the pot; Manx Workshop for the Disabled, Housing Matters, Samaritans Isle of Man, Victim Support and Care of Mann.
Ron Berry is 3FM’s Managing Director, he says it was a hard job to choose which charities should get the help: “There are so many worthy charities on the Island so it was particularly pleasing when PokerStars Helping Hands agreed to partner with us to offer £10,000 worth of airtime to help charities promote themselves and their events.
“Many thanks to PokerStars and to all of the charities that submitted their entries and well done to the ones that were selected – we look forward to working with them.”
