Eagle Radio presenter switches on a listener's lights

The turning on Christmas Lights season is underway, and Eagle Radio’s drive presenter Lewis Mason has been playing his part.
He has turned on the Christmas lights at a listener’s house, whilst broadcasting his programme live from their living room. Hundreds of locals also turned up to witness the event.
Gail Whattingham and her family have been decorating the outside of their home with a big Christmas lights display for some years, all in the name of charity.
Paul Marcus, Eagle Radio Managing Director, said: “We love being involved in switching on the Christmas lights in towns across our area as they are community events which bring people together.
“The switch-on at the Whattingham house was a chance for us to recognise the fantastic work Gail does for charity, whilst also supporting our friends at the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.”
