Cat finds fame with Radio Carmarthenshire

Radio Carmarthenshire has been giving airtime to a local cat which has been the talk of West Wales recently.

It started when breakfast presenter Jay Curtis encouraged listeners to share their peculiar domestic pet stories last week, which led to lots of people contacting him about a particular cat which visits various stores and shops nearby on a daily basis.

“The story of Zeus the Cat has caused a whirlwind weekend of media interested and the DJ has now been left pondering about the next stop for famous moggie,” Jay said.

“I can’t believe the amount of people who have been in touch with me about this cat. Firstly on Thursday, I was inundated with messages from hundreds of listeners, all with a story or picture to share. This was followed on Friday by calls from Newspapers, Radio and even TV channels, all wanting to discover more about this cute kitty! He’s made such an impression locally and nationally and seems to be loving his time in the spotlight.”

The cat even has a Facebook page and continues to get mentions on-air.
