Ofcom to hold public meetings for feedback
Ofcom is holding a series of public meetings to gain feedback on its draft Annual Plan, which outlines Ofcom’s work programme and priorities for the coming financial year.
Those with an interest in the communications sector are encouraged to attend one of the meetings, which offer an opportunity to discuss Ofcom’s approach to TV, radio, telecoms, postal and wireless communications services.
Each meeting will begin with a brief presentation, after which there will be an opportunity to comment and ask questions. All meetings are open and free of charge.
This year’s London event will be introduced by Steve Unger, who is Ofcom’s Acting Chief Executive, and offers the opportunity to engage with senior policy specialists.
The views expressed in the meetings, together with responses to the document, will help Ofcom inform its final Annual Plan statement for 2015/16, to be published in time for the start of the next financial year in April 2015.
