The 2015 Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards are now open for entries.
The Awards, organised by RadioCentre, have a total of 25 categories celebrating achievement across the whole spectrum of commercial radio, including a new award launched for 2015, Innovation of the Year.
The Innovation of the Year will be awarded for the best ‘new idea’ whether digital, station operation, or ways to generate more revenue and award sponsors this year include 7digital; GTN UK; IRN and Sky News; Ipsos Mori; NRS Media; PPL; PRS for Music; RCS; Reelworld and Roberts Radio.
The event has new hosts this year, Heart’s Jamie and Emma, and a new venue – the Roundhouse in London’s Camden Town.
Ben Hart, Head of Commercial Radio at Arqiva said: “The Awards give the whole industry a chance to get together to celebrate our strengths and successes from the smallest radio station to the largest, as well as recognising a huge pool of talent which makes our industry so enduring. Last year we had some fabulous entries and we look forward to a similar high standard again this year.”
The closing date for entries is Friday March 20th, with nominations announced in early May and the awards ceremony taking place in London on July 8th at the Roundhouse in North London.
