Heart East Anglia’s Steve Martin departs

Heart Suffolk and Norfolk’s Programme Director Steve Martin has left the company, RadioToday understands.

Steve left Global Radio in the last couple of weeks, and a replacement is now being advertised by the broadcaster.

Heart says they are now looking for a Managing Editor in a job advert posted today “We’re looking for an experienced Programmer to lead the Heart East Anglia Programming team in Norwich. You will be across the day-to-day management of all aspects of the Heart East Anglia Programming department.”

Steve joined the station to run programming in the late 90s when it was Radio Broadland under GWR, and was previously Programme Director at The Pulse in West Yorkshire.

RadioToday is awaiting comment from Global about the changes.
