Radio News Hub launches news bulletins

A competitor to IRN has launched today providing news, sport, business and showbiz to client stations around the UK and around the World.

Radio News Hub is providing an English speaking service from a team based in Leeds, delivered hourly via Dropbox. A classified football results package on Saturday afternoons during the season and live 2-ways with RNH showbiz reporters are also available from launch.

A number of stations have signed up for the service – and received their first bulletin at 0700GMT this morning. The very first station was Radio One Mallorca. Programme Director Richie Prior: “I’ve known members of the team for a while and I’m excited about the news service Radio News Hub will provide us. We are the only English speaking station on FM on the island. With tens of thousands of expats living here and millions of holidaymakers arriving through the year our listeners will now be able to keep up to date with things going on back home.”

The on air team’s made up of Jamie Fletcher, Stephanie Otty and Jon Francis and is already on-air at online station such as Chris Country and JingleMad Radio.
