The shortlist for this year’s Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards will be announced on May 14th via an online broadcast.
Absolute Radio’s Rob Beckett, host of Rock’N’Roll Football, and Sarah Champion, Festival Queen and discoverer of new music, will announce the nominations on commercialradioawards.org and on Twitter.
For the first time, each award category will now have a shortlist of five, reflecting the increase level and quality of entries, with a Bronze, Silver and Gold winner to be announced at the ceremony on July 8th.
Tickets for the awards, which will take place on the evening of July 8th at the Camden Roundhouse in London, will go on sale on May 21st.
Heart London breakfast presenters Jamie Theakston and Emma Bunton are the new hosts, taking over from Christian O’Connell.
